What Is HitTrax?

HitTrax is an advanced hitting simulator that tracks every metric of your swing in real time. Using high-speed cameras and proprietary algorithms, the system captures exit velocity, launch angle, spray direction, estimated distance, and point of contact — then displays it all on a large screen instantly. But HitTrax goes beyond numbers. It puts you inside a virtual MLB stadium where you take real at-bats against pitch sequences. Hit a home run to center at Yankee Stadium and watch it clear the wall. Ground out to short and see the play develop. Every swing generates data, and every data point gives you a target for improvement. This is the same technology used at Division I college programs and professional training academies. The fact that it's here in Greene, NY — at a facility you can drive to in minutes instead of hours — is what makes Chenango SportsZone different from every other training option in the region.

HitTrax sessions are available as part of batting cage rentals and private coaching. Call to book your first data-driven session.

What You'll See on Screen

Exit Velocity

How hard the ball comes off the bat, measured in miles per hour. Track your improvement session over session. College scouts look at this number first.

Launch Angle

The vertical angle the ball leaves the bat. Too high and it's a pop fly. Too low and it's a grounder. HitTrax helps you find the sweet spot for line drives and home runs.

Distance

How far the ball would travel in a real stadium. HitTrax projects your hits into a virtual ballpark so you can see 200-foot singles and 400-foot bombs in real time.

Spray Chart

Where your hits go — left field, center, right. Identify pull tendencies, learn to go oppo, and develop a complete approach at the plate.

Point of Contact

Where the ball meets the bat. Consistent contact in the sweet zone means harder hits and fewer weak grounders.

Game Mode

Step up to the plate in a virtual MLB stadium. Face pitch sequences, track your batting average, compete against friends, and chase home run records.
